Our Story
Founded in 1977 in Cairo, Egypt, AEO was born from the shared vision of Dipl. Eng. Ahmed Soliman and Eng. Omayma Safwat — two passionate engineers who spent over 15 years working with MAQUET – Rastatt, Germany, one of the world’s pioneers in medical technology.
Their dream was clear: to bring the precision, innovation, and reliability of German medical engineering to Egypt, and in doing so, redefine the standards of healthcare infrastructure across the region.
From day one, AEO stood out for its commitment to excellence. The founders built a team of highly skilled engineers, technicians, and specialists, trained and mentored in close collaboration with our German partners. Together, they set out to revolutionize hospital construction and design — not just supplying equipment, but creating complete, integrated healing environments.
Over the decades, AEO has proudly led the way in executing turnkey hospital projects across Egypt, delivering fully equipped and expertly engineered solutions for essential medical departments, including:

In 1982, AEO reached a defining moment in its history, the successful supply and installation of the first Modular Operating Room in the Middle East at Kobri El-Kobba Military Complex.
More than four decades later, this landmark facility remains fully operational, a testament to the enduring quality and precision that define AEO’s work.
